5th Birthday Session | Charleston SC Family Photographer

My children's birthdays have always been a big deal for me. I tend to go all out. Last year, however, I must admit that I was a complete failure when it came to this handsome guy's 4th birthday. We were rounding the last corner of our tour in my favorite little town of Homer, Alaska, and all I could imagine were family celebrations in South Carolina with family nearby. Plus, my husband was underway and I was at home with a 4 year old and our new baby of 3 months. I was tired and lazy. This year I tried to make it up to him without going over the top, and good old Chuck E Cheese sure did help deliver.

Not only was Dad home for this one, thank you land billet, but we got to celebrate with a grandma, two aunts and one cousin. That hasn't happened for FOUR YEARS!

Also, I've made it a personal mission of mine to document each of my children's special days with individual pictures to remember the wonderful stage they are in. This guy had so much fun with flower picking (he LOVES picking me flowers *swoon*), silly dance moves, balloons and tons of handsomeness!
