It was such an honor for me to photograph this awesome time in his life since this young man is practically family to me. He was pretty young when we first met, so my mind is still reeling that he's really about to graduate. I actually traveled down from Charleston, SC to St. Mary's, GA where he lives and did a session all about him starting with some soccer shots. He's a huge soccer fan and has been playing for years.

I'm going to be honest, he wasn't thrilled to do his senior portraits, but not long after we got started I could see him loosen up and start to have fun. Especially after those Ray Ban Club Masters went on! That's probably one of my favorite things about my job, seeing the confidence transformation happen. It happens with everyone, some faster than others, but it always happens.

Josh is an great young man though, and no matter how old he is I'll always remember his awesome heart and how every visit he spends time playing cars, or toss, or doing whatever it is that my son (twelve years younger) asks him to play. He's such a good guy, and I wish him nothing but the best for his senior year and beyond!
