It’s your junior year and you’re hanging out enjoying junior year things, dreaming about senior year but not quite stressing about it yet. If you’re on top of the game you’re working on SAT prep and looking forward to the holidays with friends & family.

Did you know that now is also a great time to start daydreaming about your senior pictures and who will be your senior photographer? Yes, your yearbook photo will be done through the school’s contracted photographer and yes it will be great, but those studio shots don’t have to be the photos that adorn your family home’s walls day in and day out.

There is so much that goes into building the perfect senior photo session, and getting beautiful photos that you will be proud to look back on one day! It all starts with finding the senior photographer of your dreams.

I look back on mine; done through my school’s photographer, in his little tiny yard attached to his studio. I was awkward. I got to bring one outfit outside of the velvet drapey thing. I had never spoken to this person before, had no idea how to pose, and just sat there all awkwardly smiling. I look back at those, and yikes, not very proud to still see those hanging on Grandpa’’s walls! HA! So start your search and find someone to make your senior session dreams come true!
